Environment

Daisy Chain Nursery is located in the residential of Chellow Dene, in large detached home with extensive gardens.

This means we can provide:

  • A grassed and partially covered play area for older children, with toys and a small wooden house.

  • A separate and enclosed grassed play area for babies.

  • A large sensory garden with fruit trees and shrubs.

We are close to Chellow Dene reservavoir and often visit it with the children.

Partnership with parents

We believe in partnering with parents for the benefit of each child.

To do this, we believe in keeping you informed on the development of your child, as well ensuring you understand and become involved in the ongoing activities at Daisy Chain Nursery.

In 2023 Ofsted commented:

'Parents say that they are confident to share information and know their child's key person'

Parents say that the staff and manager are friendly, patient and nurturing'

They value the range of activities, daily feedback and healthy meals which their children are offered'

We also have a bi-monthly newsletter, as well as regular Facebook page updates.

Celebrations

We believe that all parents should have the opportunity to have an interest in the activities of the nursery.

To assist in this we run events and celebrations which enable you to feel a part of the nursery - these include:

  • our Summer Garden Party held in July

  • our Bonfire Night activities,

  • our Christmas Play

  • Children in Need
