Funding

The Government may help fund your childcare

3 and 4 year olds in England are entitled to 15 hours and if you meet certain criteria an additional 15 hours of funded early education each week for 38 weeks of the year.

 

Upcoming improvements to funding

 

From Apr 2024 - funding for 2 year olds: 15 hours
Up to 15 hours for eligible working families with a 2-year-old. 

The deadline for parents to receive a Working Entitlement Code for the Summer term is 31st March.

From Sept 2024 - funding for 9 and 23 months old: 15 hours
Up to 15 hours for eligible working families in with a child between 9 and 23 months old. 

From Sept 2025 - funding for 9 month to school age: 30 hours
Up to 30 hours for eligible working families with a child from 9 months old up to school age.
