Partnership with parents

We believe in partnering with parents for the benefit of each child.
To do this, we believe in keeping you informed on the development of your child, as well ensuring you understand and become involved in the ongoing activities at Daisy Chain Nursery.

In 2017 Ofsted commented; ' relationships with parents are strong. Staff keep them well informed about their children's progress and provide useful support and guidance when required. Parents appreciate the warm and caring environment staff create'

Our newsletter and Facebook updates

In order to keep you better informed on activities at Daisy Chain Nursery, we produce a regular newsletter which is emailed to parents and available from the setting.

Please see newsletter link for the latest newsletter.

The newsletter is a combined effort by ourselves and parents, and any contributions, however small, are gratefully received.

Our newsletter details our ongoing nursery events and activities, as well as announcements and birthdays. Our latest newsletter is available from the nursery or can be downloaded via the newsletter icon.

We also provide unit newsletters to all parents, explaining what the children are doing well in and what we will be working too next.

We also communicate frequently through our Facebook page, where we put photographs and details on recent activities.  We encourage you to follow our updates.

Parent activities

We believe that all parents should have the opportunity to have an interest in the activities of the nursery. To assist in this we run events which enable you to feel a part of the nursery - these include our Summer Garden Party held in July, our Bonfire Night activities, and our Christmas Play.

We encourage you to attend these interesting events, where you can meet other parents and staff.
