Meet our people

Daisy Chain Nursery's team of dedicated nursery nurses and carers will look after your child.  Our team includes 13 N.V.Q. 3 or equivalent qualified nursery nurses.

Our nursery is eager to maintain a family atmosphere: Daisy Chain Nursery's Manager and co-owner is Mrs. Claire Heslop, while the other directors of the Nursery are Dr. Michael Neale, who is Claire's father, John Heslop, who is her husband, and Claire Neale her sister-in-law.

In order for our team to be up-to-date on developments in childcare, our Nursery is committed to ensuring that our people attend regular training courses on child care and development, nursery management, heath and safety related issues, and other areas.


Claire Heslop - Manager

Claire Heslop was formally trained at the prestigious Princess Christian College for Nannies in Manchester.

In addition to her childcare qualifications, including N.N.E.B. Dipoma in Nursery Nursing, Child Psychology qualifications and as an assessor for N.V.Q. child-care candidates, Claire has extensive practical experience of looking after children, in addition to looking after her own two children. This includes starting out as a private nanny in Kensington London, and over ten years experience as the matron of private day-care nurseries.

Daisy Chain's team of nursery nurses and support staff are dedicated to caring for and developing the children within their care. In order to assist them in doing this, they participate in on-going training so that they are up-to-date with the latest child-care practices.The performance of our nursery nurses is also constantly monitored and the results show in a happy and stimulating environment for the children.
