Partnership
with parents
We believe in partnering with parents for
the benefit of each child.
To do this we believe in keeping you
informed on the development of your child, as well ensuring you
understand and become involved in the ongoing activities at Daisy Chain.
As our latest OFSTED report commented: "Relationships
with parents are very good. Parents receive comprehensive information
about the setting and their children. They have access to their child's
development records and key worker ensuring continuity of care is
promoted."
Our Quality Counts independent report
stated: "The
Nursery highly values parents' input. The owner/manager is very
approachable and works closely with parents to meet their needs and
those of their children. Information is openly shared and relationships
are enhanced by parents' evenings and social events. A good range of
information is displayed throughout the nursery for parents which is
useful and informative."
Our newsletter
In order to keep you better informed on
activities at Daisy Chain Nursery, we produce a regular newsletter
which is given out to all parents and carers.
The newsletter is a combined effort by
ourselves and parents, and any contributions, however small, are
gratefully received.
Our newsletter details our ongoing nursery
events and activities, as well as announcements and birthdays.
Our latest newsletter can be downloaded here.
Parents'
group
We have a parents' group
with parent representatives which provides feedback and suggestions,
and parents are encouraged to join.
Parent activities
We believe that all parents
should take an interest in the activities of the nursery. To
assist in this we run events which enable you to feel a part of the
nursery - these include our Summer Garden Party held in July, our
bonfire night activities, and our Nativity Play.
We encourage you to attend
these interesting events, where you can meet other parents and staff.
